After the massive Trawler art installation from last year, we decided to use our superior stupidity to shoot for a smaller project. Dosed with head full of LSD and handicapped by continuous waves of laughter, the Deep Stupid 2003 team set out to create a new Burning Man project in one day.

In our careful design process we quickly realized that we wanted to construct some blinky-happy-bouncy trip toy for random strangers to enjoy. After much discussion we settled on vague idea of a mesh ball with funky motion activated lights on some cheap PVC tripod. We made a rough list of items we needed and set off to the toy store, the sporting goods store, the head-shop, and the hardware store...

With Victoria & Miguel as our drivers and legal guardians, we begin our journey......
